3   RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY 

 

3.6  COVID-19 Related

Should your place of residence, or Queenstown, be impacted by a Government enforced lockdown which restricts you from leaving your place of residence or coming to Queenstown, then you can request a credit for the fully paid value of your accommodation towards a future booking within 12 months, and if future dates are not available, a full refund of the accommodation value paid will be made.

Does not include flight cancellations due to other events such as weather, airline operational requirements or other guest or family health issues. We strongly recommend you take comprehensive travel insurance to protect your holiday investment.

Should your place of residence, or Queenstown, be impacted or is likely to be impacted by a Government enforced lockdown which restricts you from leaving your place of residence or coming to Queenstown, then we can cancel your reservation without penalty and offer credit for the fully paid value of your accommodation towards a future booking within 12 months, and if future dates are not available, a full refund of the accommodation value paid will be made.

 

 

5-Step Enhanced Cleaning Process

 

Step 1: Prepare

Our team are in-house and have been vaccinated

Before entering a cottage to clean, our team wash and disinfect their hands, then apply clean gloves and masks

All window and sliding doors are opened to ventilate the space during the clean

 

Step 2: Clean

● The Cottage is swept, vacuumed, dusted and/or mopped before cleaning and sanitising

● Dishes are washed in the dishwasher on the highest temperature setting, followed by the sanitise function after the washing cycle is completed

● Hard surfaces are wiped down with soap and water

● Separate cloths are used for general and bathroom areas, and wash after use in hot water (60°C to 90°C)

 

Step 3: Sanitise

● High touch surfaces are sprayed with ecostore antibacterial multipurpose cleaner and left to stand for 10 minutes before wiping clean with a damp cloth

● High touch surfaces include door handles, countertops, dining table, toilets, sinks, shower area, TV remotes etc

 

Step 4: Check

● Post clean, the team refer to the room-by-room Enhanced Cleaning Checklist to ensure that all areas are cleaned and sanitised between each stay

● Once satisfied, the windows and doors are closed and locked, and no-one is permitted to enter the cottage until the guests arrive

 

Step 5: Reset

To help prevent cross-contamination, the team make sure to:

● Safely dispose of or wash cleaning supplies and protective gear

● Clean and sanitise equipment between each turnover.
